DR Pool:
The following will give you some history on DR Pool and reasons
why he is one of the top tournament directors in the country.
Experience-DR
Pool has over 25 years experience as a tournament director, with
more than thirteen of those years directing and promoting casino
pool tournaments. These have been throughout the Midwest and
Southwest. He is the Promoter and Tournament Director of the
Native American Casino Pool Tour now in its eighth year.
DR Pool is also
in charge of the BCAPL regional events. He negotiates sites and
dates and coordinates the event with Bad Boys Billiards
Productions.
DR Pool has
been the Assistant Tournament Director at many of the Women's
Professional Billiard Association (WPBA) events seen on ESPN
over the years. He is also the only independent promoter who
has operated an amateur pool event side by side with a WPBA
event. What a great way for the amateur players to meet and see
the professional women play. He currently assists the WPBA in
site searches.
Dr Pool has
been the tournament director/site coordinator for WI since 2004
and MI since 2008. He has directed the South Padre Island
tournament in 2002, the Midwest Expo in 2003 and 2004 and the
BCAPL National 9-ball event in 2004. In 2003, he produced the
Pro Women’s Grudge Matches at the Stardust in Las Vegas.
Handicapping
system-DR Pool has also developed a handicap system of
rating the players. Using this system in singles, partners and
three man tournaments has leveled the playing field so that most
players are able to compete.
As you can see
when you hire DR Pool to run a tournament for you he brings a
lot to the table. With his experience, knowledge and desire to
succeed you can rest assured that he does everything he can to
make your event as successful as possible.
