2008-2009 Stop 1 Recap
Would first off like to thank the
people at Mole Lake Casino. Once again they have shown that they are
ready to cater to the pool players.
Started off Friday night with 69 players for the 9 ball. It was a very
late night and we didn’t finish until 2:30. Andy Nikolai took home his
first 9 ball 1st place. Way to go Andy. We also held an 8 ball mini that
Eric Czarnecki won with Kelly Birmingham in 2nd.
Saturday morning brought out 108 players for the main 8-ball tournament.
30 of these were brand new to the tour! It was a full day and went very
late into the night.
Because of the number of players the Second Chance Tournament didn’t
start until Sunday morning. 40 players battled it out with Lonnie and
Chris splitting 1st.
Some other random thoughts…
Heather and Jode kept on putting their right hands up to their
foreheads.
“Snoop” Carrier made an appearance.

Bob (who ALWAYS has a beer not matter what time of the day)
